Every year local scientist John Pierce gives Missoula Public Library 
new and wonderful science books for children.
During the past 20 years he has donated over 200 science books
to the library. His goal is to interest young people in science by
showing them that there is always something new to investigate
and something wonderful to discover.
Every day interested children ask for science books so they can
better understand the world around them.
