Memory Café takes you on a virtual tour of the Herbarium at the University of Montana with curator Shannon Kimball! The University of Montana Herbarium is an irreplaceable resource for the activity of the botany and plant ecology of Montana. It contains over 130,000 plant specimens and has the largest and best representation of the flora of the Northern Rocky Mountains in the world. The Herbarium is particularly well-known for its outstanding collections from the alpine and montane regions of Montana. This is the same tour Shannon gives to in-person visitors so prepare for a wonderful experience!

A safe, welcoming, and supportive space for individuals experiencing memory loss and their caregivers and family members. Occurs the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 2 PM. Each month the café will have a new theme, activity and/or guest speaker as well as a healthcare or social services representative able to share information about brain health, memory loss, Alzheimer’s and dementia.
