Every month, MPL sponsors free public films. Showings of recently released feature films, kids films, classic movies, and international prize winners are held onsite and are free of charge. Call 721-2665 to find out about upcoming showings.

Cheap Date Night

Cheap Date Night, the third Friday of every month, is an after-hours program at Missoula Public Library

The movie starts at 7:00, with doors off the parking lot (Front Street side of the building) opening at 6:45. We'll provide the popcorn and you can provide your own non-alcoholic beverages. Please be on time, as after 7:10 p.m. you will not be able to enter the building for security reasons.

World Wide Cinema

The film screenings are free and open to the public on the second Friday of every month at MPL in the Large Meeting Room. Lower level doors open at 6:45-7:15.

In 1946 Frankfurt, David Bermann recruits his friends, all Holocaust survivors, to sell fine bed linens at inflated prices to unsuspecting Germans in hopes of raising enough money to move to the U.S. when a beauriful American officer investigates his secret.
