Every month, MPL sponsors free public films. Showings of recently released feature films, kids films, classic movies, and international prize winners are held onsite and are free of charge. Call 721-2665 for more information about upcoming showings.

Cheap Date Night

Cheap Date Night, on the third Friday of every month, is an after-hours program at Missoula Public Library

The movie starts at 7 PM, with doors off the parking lot (Front Street side of the building) opening at 6:45. Please be on time, as after 7:15 PM you will not be able to enter the building for security reasons.

 

World Wide Cinema

HAPPY NATIONAL POETRY MONTH! In place of our regular World Wide Cinema event, MPL is spotlighting a foreign film for National Poetry Month available through the free Kanopy streaming service. Watch the movie - POETRY - at home by Friday, April 17th, and take part in a virtual film discussion between April 17-19 on our Facebook page! Access Kanopy here

The WWC film screenings are free and open to the public on the second Friday of every month at MPL in the Large Meeting Room. The film begins at 6 PM. Please be on time, as after 6:15 PM you will not be able to enter the building for security reasons. Note: 6:00 PM is the NEW time for all World Wide Cinema showings moving forward!
