During this weekly class, local artist Robert Peltzer will help you practice and develop the skills and techniques necessary to enjoy and succeed at watercolor painting. Classes are held every Friday from noon to 2PM in the Cooper room on the Level Four. Robert teaches twice a month, with different artist filling in on other Fridays. This class is open to adults ages 18 and older. There is no fee or registration, but you must bring your own watercolor paper, paints, brushes, and a palette. Questions? Call Robert at 406-541-8868 or email at wes@missoulapubliclibrary.org.
For Friday May 2, use the view finder you received in class (compliments of Myrt), or make your own viewfinder (a 2” x 3” square hole cut out of a piece of card is an example). Use your view finder to frame and paint an unusual scene from inside your home. Below are some examples of of homemade and store-bought view finders and unusual interior scenes: (click on the images to enlarge them)
