Watercolor Painting

During this weekly class, local artist Robert Peltzer will help you practice and develop the skills and techniques necessary to enjoy and succeed at watercolor painting. Classes are held every Friday from noon to 2PM in the Cooper room on the Level Four. Robert teaches twice a month, with different artist filling in on other Fridays. This class is open to adults ages 18 and older. There is no fee or registration, but you must bring your own watercolor paper, paints, brushes, and a palette. Questions? ASSIGNMENT FOR FRIDAY DECEMBER 20
For December 20, watch and study the following short video demonstration of negative painting by Linda Kemp. This video is intended to serve as a review and reminder of our lesson in class. Once you have been reminded and understand how to create a negative painting, create your own negative painting using leaves, branches, flowers, trees or whatever other object interests you. You can also paint negative abstracts, some examples of negative abstracts to prime your creativity are pictured below:
