    MPL provides passport services on Level Three by appointment only.

     

    Before making your appointment, review all photo, fee, ID, and form requirements at travel.state.gov It is your responsibility to complete the application before the appointment and bring all of the required materials, or you will need to reschedule.

    Passport FAQs

    In-person appointments are required. If you need to renew an adult passport, you may be eligible to renew by mail or online. Please visit travel.state.gov for renewal information. The US Postal Service also accepts passport appointments on the USPS Passport website.

    Adults renewing a 10 year validity passport issued less than 15 years ago must renew via the mail or online. All others should make an appointment. For complete renewal instructions and forms, please visit travel.state.gov

    Passport fees vary depending on service and age of applicant. Check the passport fees page for current costs. You must pay with a separate check or money order made out to the US Department of State for each application. An additional fee goes the library and can be paid via cash, check, or card.

    Passport photos can be taken at the time of your application appointment for $15 per person.  Please note: the library is not equipped to take photos of infants and toddlers.  Passport photos can also be done ahead of time at many locations such as Walgreens, CVS, Fedex, UPS, Staples, Walmart, etc.

    Processing times can vary. Please visit travel.state.gov for current processing times of routine and expedited processing.
