Join AUOR for the Holiday Extravaganza, a dazzling celebration filled with festive lights, live entertainment, and delicious seasonal treats. Experience a magical atmosphere with activities for all ages, from holiday markets to enchanting performances. Create unforgettable memories with family and friends as we embrace the spirit of the season together!

 

Santa @ Missoula Public Library
Imaginarium, 11:00 AM – 2:15 PM
Bring your kiddos Downtown to meet Santa and take photos before the Downtown Missoula Partnership’s Holiday Village at the Parade of Lights. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at the Missoula Public Library at 11am and will be there until 2:15pm to read stories, hear all about holiday wishes and pose for photos on your phone. Santa’s sleigh will be leaving promptly at 3pm so be sure to get in line by 2:15! For more information visit https://www.missouladowntown.com/holidays-on-higgins/. Make Pop-up Holiday Cards
MakerSpace, 11:00 AM-2:30 PM
Join the library’s MakerSpace and make pop-up holiday and winter themed cards!

 

Seasonal Designs
Level 4, Blackfoot Room, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM
Join Soft Landing Missoula, a local organization that supports refugees and immigrants,  on Level 4 in the Blackfoot Room for some henna and winter-themed designs inspired by some of the new traditions and cultures coming to Missoula.

 

Ballerinas from the Nutcracker @ MPL
Level Two, 1:00-3:00 PM
Come to Level 2, near the Santa line, to see ballerinas from Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre who perform in the Nutcracker. Get a picture with them and maybe even see them show off some of their moves.

 

Hellgate Middle School Orchestra
Level One, 12:00-2:00 PM
Listen to the Hellgate Middle School Orchestra perform songs of the season on Level 1.

 

Hot cocoa and apple cider
Level One, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM
Drink some hot cocoa and apple cider in the demo-kitchen while you browse holiday related bakeware and cookbooks. Snag a cookie while supplies last, too!
