Spooky Stories for Older Kids

Ready for something a little scarier? Somewhere in between Goosebumps and Stephen King? Dana will read stories to make your spine tingle and your skin crawl.

Online D&D Guild for Teens

  • Nov 12th, 3-5pm

Are you stuck at home, yearning to satisfy your appetite for adventure? Join us for an online game of Dungeons and Dragons! MPL offers Dungeons & Dragons for teens aged 12-17. Beginners are welcome! Limited to 8 participants per session. 

All participants will need free accounts on dndbeyond.com, roll20.net, and Discord in order to join our virtual world. Join the Teen Guild on November 12th from 3-5 PM.

Virtual Story Time

Storytime for children ages 3 and older and their caregivers. Join for special pre-recorded Storytime sessions on the Missoula Public Library Facebook page every Friday through Sunday.

Tiny Tales: Prerecorded Sessions

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:30 am on Facebook

What is your child learning? Hearing stories and rhymes helps your baby develop language skills and your toddler develop their vocabulary. Toddlers learn nine new words a day!

Participants will sing songs, learn fingerplays and nursery rhymes, and hear a story.

Middle School Writer's Group

  • Wednesdays at 3:30-5:00 PM

For writers and would-be writers. We share our original stories, poems, novels; give and receive feedback; and do fun writing activities. It’s all about creation and imagination! Members will meet live on Zoom every Wednesday. Those interested in joining should email Dana.

 

Young Adult Writer's Group

  • Fridays at 3:30-5:30 PM

For writers and aspiring writers ages 16-19. We share our work aloud–poems, stories, songs, rants, novels–and give and receive respectful feedback. All genres, tones, styles welcome. We laugh, we shiver, we cringe, we swoon – we ENJOY WORDS!! Members will meet live on Zoom every Friday. Those interested in either group should email Dana.
